A considered starting point
Make circulation part of the pool design
Precision Fiberglass Pools LLC serves Bay Head with complete Aviva Pools and River Pools installations. Use this guide to organize your priorities, then discuss the actual site with our team.
Test the routes you will use every day
Walk from the back door to the planned pool entry, seating area, and equipment location. Put chairs and a table near temporary layout markers to see where people would pass while someone is seated. Allow room for the gates and doors shown in the design to open properly. If a pathway has to serve several purposes, ask for a layout that explains those movements explicitly. The aim is a pool setting you can use naturally, rather than a design that looks spacious only when the furniture is absent.
Keep maintenance access visible on the plan
Discuss the space needed to reach pool equipment, operate a cover, and clean around the perimeter. Landscaping and decorative screening should be considered alongside those tasks. Ask where hoses, maintenance supplies, and removable accessories will be kept. If an equipment screen is proposed, confirm that service access is still workable. A design review should also identify which existing utilities or yard features need further investigation before their locations can be treated as fixed boundaries for the pool and surrounding hardscape.
Find the right local resources.
Use the Borough of Bay Head's municipal website for the current contact route; requirements depend on the actual property and project.
Confirm current property requirements with the appropriate building and zoning offices. Ask what they need to review the proposed location and associated work before treating a concept as a final plan.
